GM makes some tablets that work really well to stop the small leaks I would try that first and if that doesn't fix it buy a new one

Id get a rad man, honestly, those snakeoil cures do more bad than good. I dont know how many vehicles Ive seen at the scrapyard with some sort of crap in their coolant passages. For $200, its not a huge cost.

is it in the core and fins or can you get to it and solder it? I've done that to a leaking upper hose neck, it was a brand new rad, cleaned it, flux'd it then soldered with my propane torch like plumbing, worked perfectly.

Thanks guys. I've got a buddy at a shop that is going to do a pressure test to see where it's leaking. I think it must be on the bottom, I can't see any leaks on the sides.
