I am working on replacing my lower radiator hose. I can't figure out how to keep the clamp on, my clamp pliers keep falling off the clamp. what do you guys use to keep the clamp pliers on.

I'm assuming your talking about the spring style clamp. I use the Spring clamp pliers. I have also used a pair of locking channel locks.

I got a nice pair of long angled needle nose that normally work real good. I also have the special pliers for the real stubborn ones

I got the hose on it just took me some time I had to repair the pliers because one of the c clips kept popping off but once I thought about it overnight I thought of taking a skinny paperclip and rapping it around a ton, then I just took the two ends and stuck the two ends on the outside. It was all just because of the cheap AutoZone pliers.
