The 454 actually doesn’t impress me in the stock form. I also have a dually that I’m redoing the 454 in but it’s not stock and the 383 isn’t really stock but I didn’t go crazy on the cam so I want to put it in my crew cab srw

Any of the GM pumps used for the last 40 some odd years will physically fit but they are not functionally interchangeable. The reservoir is specific to the hydroboost setup and the pump outputs a higher pressure than the one used with the vacuum brakes. The same hydroboost reservoir was used on the 5.7 and 7.4.
