i just picked up the 8877 harness and mine has 2 seperate white wires one red one orange one black . but on the install instructions it only shows one white??? is my harness jacked up ? also the plug that plugs in the coil only has 2 wires black and orange . seems like there should be 3 going to the coil .

There is nothing wrong with your, harness mine was the same way. I think the unused wire is a tach wire not shure though. Just plug her in and go.

Basicly there is a positive that goes to the battery 12v and a ground then the box itself get wire between the the 2 wires going to the distributor and the distributor
