Is 500 for a 4x4 1992 Chevy NV4500 complete Trans w/ the 5th gear fix a good price?

I didn't think that chevy's nv4500 had the 5th gear nut issue?

Already know guy doesn't know what he's talking about cause he said it was the "deep low ratio" untill 1998 but that's not right either.. Gonna get either way local guy said 1200 for install an full rebuild gonna get that done before it goes between frame rails anyhow

Yeah, it was 6.34 till 94 then 5.61 1200 for rebuild and install isn't bad.

Was hopin for the older low ratio gonna have it Atleast gone thru.. Guy snapped me pics of it this morn has the old style shifter says L 1 2 3 OD
