So i pulled this NV4500 out of a ‘95 3500 and the build tag on the side is stamped ‘94. I go to disassemble and im looking at the output shaft and i dont see any 5th gear nut. Not like it fell off but i dont see where one would even go on? All i see is the speedometer tone ring and and spacer that is butt up to it. The transmission came with a fixed yoke, dampener and a nut at the end of the main shaft. Does that fixed yoke hold 5th gear in place or am i missing something? This is my first NV4500 rebuild so any help would be appreciated.
