Wanna send me all those parts? :D Lookin good

Ha you plan on hooking me up with a clean LQ9 6.0 and 4L80E with harness, computer, etc?????

Look, there are other Okie's on this forum!

Looks exactly like my first truck. Mine was 95 K1500 4x4 (not z71) 305 (great mpg) 3.42 posi and custom ordered w/ leather seats and rubber floors. Bought it when I was 15, from the old man my dad used to lease some land from. It had 80K miles then and I had it until a year ago at 247K all original. Saw it the other day and its looking like the end of the road for the old girl.

Good luck with your truck, I hope after the new engine it treats you as good as mine did me.

thanks man! I actually picked up mine from my neighbor back when i lived in edmond bout 2-3 years ago! He hardly ever drove it, it only has 160k on it now or a little over but she needed an oil pump when we first got it, replaced that then about 6 months ago the ole 350 tbi crapped out, but shes treated me well, theres a few minor things wrong with it, ac window motors, headlights wont line up right, just little things but its a solid truck!

Whereabouts are ya from in Okie Land?

Well got to work on the engine today and well uhm it appears the engine wasn't exactly cared for as well as the truck appeared.....(referring to PO)

got everything put on the engine (except a few things that'll go on when its in) lost daylight so we will drop it in tomorrow and button everything up and she should be done!

also thought it would be the best time to install my ground strap kit i bought! see as how one was basically almost fully cut in half

on to pics

took her over there last night

The tail lights look cool. Glad to see a new motor going in. Hate to see a clean truck like that get pounded into the ground.
