Truck is coming along great Chris, keep up the great work!

thanks man! Cant wait to be back behind the wheel driving her!

The tail lights look cool. Glad to see a new motor going in. Hate to see a clean truck like that get pounded into the ground.

Thanks man! I'm really stoked about the truck getting fixed, theres been a few times over the past 6 months i had a thought in my head of maybe i should just sell it and move on......but i stuck with her and now she will be fixed!!

if you're strapped for time like i am (need my truck to make a trip to florida second weekend of january) i had to give myself extra time to drive it and break it in before just slapping it in and going highway speeds. So we ended up just biting the bullet and ordered it, still gonna keep the original to either rebuild or ill make an engine table with it.

Oh boy, speaking from experience its alll downhill from there, went through 2 honda motors ed the rods and a honda trans, that was back in highschool when i was in the ricer honda phase! lol If you're looking for a quick replacement go crate and swap all your accessories and manifold etc over. (I didn't need TB Gaskets bc i left everything i could attached to the manifold so all i have to do is bolt it on and connect things.

When the problem with mine came up first thought was bore out motor a bit to get more hp and whatnot, well then time got away and had to go this route (not a bad route) but its all on how much time you have to do it.
If you have the time to build it then by all means go at it! If not then I'd strongly suggest a crate motor.

Tomorrow i should know whether or not the crank is broken or whatsup bc after we get everything buttoned up on the truck we may pull the pan and check out the old motor, will update with pics!

SHES DONE! (just needs a few tweaks, seems to hesitate and sputter similar to a misfire when i try to accelerate)
Regret not painting the manifolds......:\

haha i guess its a perk for being so scrawny....damn high metabolism! Thanks man! i really need to get to work on the multifunciton switch bc the whole way home i was trying to signal and kept forgetting sumbitch none of it works....lol

I'm so glad its finally done, sure does run great, other then the sputtering similar to a misfire, not sure if its the timing or whatsup with it.......oil pressure was normal when sitting but i noticed some when driving that is was close to 80 :O maybe bc its a new engine and needs to circulate oil idk?
