Ya it would but I think he's leaning towards just rebuilding the stock stuff for now an getting it put back together.

well i will add my input, dont rush it. do it rigbht now otherwise youll have it torn back apart due to a regret of something you didnt do in the beginning, ive done it many many times. if your goig to lengths to powdercoat all the useable line retaining clips then do it right now, buy a rusty ol beater in the meantime.
Already have a few rusty ole beaters im not rushing by no means, just thinking about keeping it original....I have a friend that is going to build the original TBI bored .40 over with some pistons that I may get from bluex. Here is my friends 462 Pontiac pushing 750 horses...
