Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has found any bigger mirrors that fit our trucks (I have the manual black ones not the metal ones). Not tow mirrors I think they look God awful on these trucks but that's just me. I've tried mirrors from a NBS truck but the bolt pattern is different. I'm tired of looking at something the size of my hand while trying to look for traffic.

I don’t know about any bigger mirrors but you can get those mirror extensions for the oem mirrors. I personally like how the tow mirrors look on certain trucks. Like mine :naughty:

The only other mirrors for these trucks that are bigger are the stainless steel / black flag/dumbo mirrors or camper mirrors. I've removed my plastic mirrors on my 97 in favor of the stainless mirrors.

These are the flag/dumbo mirrors:

Or the old school camper mirrors. imo, these look kinda goofy on a SRW:

I too am not a fan of the plastic mirrors, just kinda small to see anything out of.

Mounts will be too big unfortunately. I thought about trying them out as well, but since they are from a 99-07, they won't fit.

How do you like the quality of your stainless mirrors? Shaking? Where did you get them please?

I think those were internet photos just to illustrate the mirror style. That area code is in virginia, the poster is in Iowa, and hasn't been on here in over a year.

LMC and Classic Industries both have them. I've got them on a few trucks. The shaking is not bad, but make sure to check for any distortions in the mirror before you put them on. I've had some that had sections that made it blurry, like I was going 100mph. The first one I had already mounted before noticing it... grrrr. I tow quite a bit and I really don't mind the standard mirrors. I could see where those little sport mirrors would be worthless though... never personally had any of them though.

I am leaning toward stock 95+ mirrors, but the stainless steel mirrors on the white truck look pretty cool. My c2500 is the light blue with grey running trim, so I am wondering if they would look good on it also. I've even thought of buying one used OE left and painting them to match the grey trim. Would that be weird? I don't like the sport mirrors or the dumbo ears, just want clean and solid mirrors in good working order and still be able to afford to paint the roof and hood. :)
