Well, guess I'm slow to the game, and it's time to fix it. Just picked up an all original 93 C1500 with a 350 TBI/4L60E. I'm looking to do an LS swap, but the engines confuse me more than a Ford FE block. I understand displacements and whatnot, but the heads, cams, electronics, ect. is what's getting to me. From what I've read, Texas Speed, for the price, makes EXCELLENT top end products and that's what I'd like to go with unless someone suggests different. I plan on going with a 5.3 block (Summit Racing # SUM-4853L) and a T56 of some sort (that's a whole other thread...) with a Scat rotating assembly (# SCA-1-44830). What would be a good cam/head setup for this parts list? I've heard the 243/799 heads are a popular choice.
