I'm also looking to level my truck did the 2" drop shackle force you to get new shocks? or did you just need new ones? I ask because I just replaced all 4 with ac Delco shocks in past 6 months. Thanks in advance!
X3, I didn't have to do anything to my shocks when I dropped mine 2 inches in the rear, with shackles. It's a very easy mod. Just jack up the rear of the truck, replace the OE shackles, with a set of drop shcckles, tighten everything up, and remove the jack stands, and jack. It's that simple.

Yep, as long as your trailer hitch receiver doesn't get in the way, ha ha. I was just barely able to get the upper bolts out.
