Also weird a later-model GMT400 8 lug 2500 came with the 14 SF! Most I've seen with that were the pre-Vortec trucks, with the rest getting the 14 FF.

My 99 CCSB has the same rear end set up. My 99 SCLB I had in college, also a 2500, had the SF too.

Insured the truck the other day. First voyage was tonight. Needs some tlc but I love it!

I also put in a set of new headlights and clear parks I had from my 94. Not sure if I should go with smoked lights or clears in this. Same with cab lights. I'm thinking smoked
