How does this really mild 305 build sound?

140$ for fresh heads are not bad.
Not sure where your from. But some places 113 vette heads can be had pretty cheap. Basically 416 heads in aluminum and with 1.94 intake valves.

Yes the aluminum L98 heads. Small chambers, ok intake runners, and d-port exhaust side. Not a bad idea, but are becoming scarce, and those vette guys think all their stuff is gold.

If you find them from a ZZ3 or ZZ4 crate engine GM did some factory work on the intake and exhaust bowls. The GMPP heads flow a little better than the factory Vette heads. People upgrade ZZZ through ZZ4s with better heads all the time too.

You can find deals on the L98 vette heads , but stock they do not flow much if any better than the 305 vortecs, and will stock truck exhaust manifolds work with them?
