Engine hydro locking from fuel.

. Btw do you know if I have to take the distributor cap off to take the upper intake off ?

Can't remember if the cap has to come off. Dizzy stays put. Removing cap is easy. Try with it still on to begin with.

I know it’s easy to take off. Reason I ask is the where it screws into on the distributor one side is cracked and I couldn’t get it tighten so I laid a lot of lock tight and other stuff to it to give it something to hold its place.
