Carbureted ls swap

So I put a 4.8/5.3 into my 92 c2500 truck and bought the summit carb swap kit and bolted a edelbrok 650 carb on top of the kit and after plugging everything into the msd ignition box it started right up first try but I have a problem where if I try to accelerate quickly and almost die I have tried all the preset timing tunes on the msd and even put a 1 inch spacer under the carb can someone please help?

Is your accelerator pump working properly? Can you increase the pump shot?

Edelbrock installation and tuning guide attached. Take some time to learn the theory of operation and you'll better understand how to fix the problem. Pretty straightforward once you do.

Why did you eliminate the fuel injection? It’s far superior to any crappy carburetor set up.

Liked how it went with what I saw for my truck build plus it has a cleaner look to it then the bully wiring harness
