Believe it or not, but Pearl is a little bit of what caused my 6.5L wantsies. That and Dave's old 99 K2500, I know I wish I could've scored how you did when you got the replacement motor.
Obviously we want Pearl up. I've been thinning the fleet and I've recently considered selling my daily driver S10 Xtreme and the suburban once Pearl is running. I've been daily driving the LS swapped Jeep and honestly it rides as good as the S10, has more power and puts a bigger smile on my face.

AC and 25mpg highway are the biggest advantages to the S10 but we take the GTO on trips now so an S10 trip would be rare.

That would put us with the CJ5, GTO and Pearl for regular duty. Currently we have 5 fully insured and registered. Eventually I'd love to put the Skylark back on the road $$$$ and we'll inherit the 49 F1. I also plan on keeping the 40 Harley Servicar. That would put us at 6 total, plus one car trailer and truck camper, low numbers for us!

We currently have (by age)
06 GTO
02 S10 Xtreme
00 suburban
00 1500 Silverado (kids parts truck that has been super reliable)
00 K3500 (Pearl)
96 Exploder (drivable parts vehicle)
94 K3500
94 K1500
94 Honda Magna
83 CJ5
76 Skylark (1st car)
48 Ford F1 panel
42 Ford GPW
40 Harley Servicar
2 car trailers
99 Bigfoot cab over camper

6 is a reasonable number for a fleet; I have maybe 3 more GM trucks I want that wouldn't sell; a 67-72 Chevy, a K5, and a K2500 Suburban. That would put me at 6 counting my wife's car, then of course the camper and equipment trailer.
But for now I'm content with my 2 trucks.

Just for humor's sake; the 94 K3500 is the one you mentioned selling in Pearl's thread right? How much did you want for that truck?

Update time! Been a little stretched for time the past few weeks, and with it getting dark sooner I haven't had much time to work on the trucks; I got my battery cable kit in from @5vortec7, and I'm still blown away by the quality! I was hoping to get it installed this weekend but most of my time has been eaten up between errands and working on the house; I'll probably try and get them knocked out Sunday or Monday. Going to try and get the alternator reinstalled and get the new belt on today.

Also, managed to score big time for this truck. As previously mentioned, I got an Air Lift load controller kit off of FB marketplace, and I kept going back and forth on which truck to put it on.

Well I figured it out yesterday, I scored a nearly new set of Air Lift air bags! It's the Load Lifter 5000 kit, with the 5810 bags that have the internal jounce, and I got them for $100! I lucked out and I've got almost everything I'd need between both kits, all I really need is a couple new fittings and a few lengths of air line.

Slow going, but it takes many bites to eat and elephant.
Over the last week or so, I was able to start running my new battery cables and remove the crusty old ones, I still have a few grounds to replace but I should be able to get all the new cables installed in the next day or so.
Got the belt in and found a new bolt for the alternator so that's all buttoned up, and found the source of the clatter whenever I shut the truck off. Bad crank pulley. I was worried it was the harmonic balancer, so I bought replacements for both. Should get that taken care of sometime next week too.

Managed to figure out a clean and relatively cost effective way of mounting and routing the new cables, the old plastic channel was all torn up so I cut it out and smoothed out the plastic some, there's a series of holes in the shroud so I took some of the leftover riv-nuts I had, some cheap hardware and cheap hose clamps from HF and voila! New cable hold downs for cheap!
