If you put an eyelet in the hole you may just pull the hole out if you know what I mean. I would try and wedge a block of wood between the bracket and the chain. Got a pic of how its bent, because you might not be able to get the body mount bolt back in after.

I gotcha, I can get a pic to ya tomorrow, ty job of mine has me workin today. I'll try using the block of wood tomorrow. I think the body bolt is bent with it, you might be right with that. think it would bend back with the bracket if i left it in there?

Yea if it were my bracket I would attempt to bend it back all bolted up. I did it that way on my truck, but for a different part.

thanks, where the body mount in the top left of that pic is is where mine is bent, but on the passenger side. nothing to push against.

Only way to truly get that part of the frame straight is on a stretcher

bad news, in straightening the bumper it revealed the body is tweaked back as is the entire front part of the frame. Which answers a lot of problems ha.
