The "kit" I got is really just the parts kit, it is for DIY. I've not worked out exactly how I am going to wire it all up yet. I actually have 3 relays, 2 for powering low and high beam respectively, and one more to configure "4-high". I've been looking at wiring diagrams and trying to reverse-engineer the existing wiring first. What is the "B+" that you refer to?

One thought I had was using the original low beam harness for the "city lights", and just put my DRL fuse back in. The only problem then is preventing the regular low beams from coming on as DRLs though.

I got the wiring done today and everything buttoned back up. I ended up disassembling the Arteb headlights yesterday to lube the adjusters, and put in the new bulbs.
I used 3 relays. One powers Low, one powers High, and the third enables 4-Hi by triggering the Low Beam relay when the High beams are also triggered.

Midway through, wiring the relay brackets and running wire for the headlamps. The relays are powered by 10ga wires coming off the terminal on the back of the fuse box. I ran 14ga to the lamps themselves and also ran new 14ga grounds for the lamps. The relays are grounded to an existing engine ground.

The attached .pdf document, written about the GM B-body's ’91-’96 "export headlamp" option RPO T84, explains very well the superiority of the light pattern and applies equally to the Arteb headlight when used on the GMT400 platform.

While the Arteb unit wasn't an "export headlamp" for US vehicles sold abroad, it could be considered as such.

Special thanks to Scott Mueller, the author. I added some comments within.

Since these headlights are both expensive & fairly hard to come by i decided after taking with Jim to have them protected with 3m headlight protection film. Both to protect the lenses from road debris & keep them from clouding up due to UV rays. Had a local Vinyl Wrap shop do the installation (would've been simple enough to do on my own, but time is hard to find). Crystal clear & looks amazing. Cost was a little more than I was expecting ($80). But the finished product turned out great so I'm happy. If wanted to do it cheaper I've seen the film on Amazon along with other websites.

I didn't know there was such a thing.

Yes, available as a UV protectant film from 3M and others. It’s fairly thick material (8mil?) and will offer protection from rocks and debris as well.

I have a number of my vehicle’s headlights covered to mitigate hazing from UV exposure.

Honestly if it's installed correctly you can't even tell by looking that its on the lense. The only way you can tell is by running your finger on the edge of the lense & feeling the ridge of the film. I look at it as cheap insurance for a "rare" (in this country anyway) headlight setup.

City Light Electrical Connectors:

A mating connector for the Arteb's "City Lights" fixture has been identified.

I've attached a picture of the connector supplied by Arteb, and that of its mate.

Below I've got information about buying the connector pre-assembled with pigtails (e.g., from RockAuto) or buying it piece-meal.

This connector is typical for the washer pumps, and other applications, on GM vehicles. Check Google / RockAuto / eBay for "GM 12102747". Pre-assembled connectors with pigtails are relatively inexpensive, see this link:

https://www.rockauto.com/en/partsearch/?partnum=12102747

Note the "applications" for which RockAuto says this connector is used; one could easily snip these from a junkyard donor for uber-cheap.

Here are all the pieces for one to build the connector, e.g., connector w/ secondary lock, electric terminals and seals, with manufacturer's part numbers and links to both Mouser and Waytekwire.

No "4-high" on GM Brazil GMT400s from the factory:

I had a suspicion about the GM Brazil GMT400s, I thought they might have a "4-high" feature by design, "from the factory". The short answer is "They don't".

Carlos has an acquaintance with a GMT400 and I asked him to take pictures of the headlights on "high" and "low". See the attached. I did confirm that it's a "GM Brazil" GMT400 BTW, it's not a US domestic model that found it's way to Brazil.

Notice the headlights aren't OE units from Arteb, they're aftermarket dingle-berries.
