It too went through this nightmare. My hoses didn't collapse but the inside started coming apart and blocked the fluid from returning. Happened to one wheel after another over a one month period. Left me stuck on the freeway until it cooled down and I was able to pry the caliper open just a hair and drove 80 mile home using the e-brake. Mine were 20 years old but only had 110,000 miles.OK cool! Just wanted to pass along my experience. Before that happened, the Burb was stopping fine, though, so you don't get much warning that it's going to collapse like that.
