Hey guys!
We have dove into our 5.7 swapped S10 engine to take care of the leaking intake gaskets (Big mess!) but we figured while we're in there and have the engine tore down this far we may as well pull the heads and go through them and possibly swap out the camshaft and lifters.
I did a bit of research on this but I'm not sure what specs we can go with (Lift limitations of the heads?) and how running/drivability will be effected due to the computer program and any issues with that side of things?
I do have a Jet Performance hand held tuner but I'm not sure of the depth of the tuning abilities of that unit (?) Don't really want to change out the computer to a 0411 type at this point either,.. just want plug n play type set up and reliability -----> Of course with any performance gains that can be had along the way
We currntly have Headers and a CAI, but that's it.
Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.
