Load it to where the combination sits about level, you want most of the weight on the trailer axles. Avoid the tendency to run it forward on the trailer, that unloads your steering axle and makes control very difficult.
I drove big trucks for years and the best advice I got was to drive like you have a full glass of water on the dash, and every drop you spill is costing you a dollar. Smooth and steady.

Yeah that’s my plan, would rather get there slow instead of wrecking fast. Like everyone said I’m gonna get a weight distribution hitch, as well as make sure the tow vehicle is in top not condition. And definitely make sure the trailer brakes are in working order.
