94' GMC 3500HD 4X4 Conversion

Man I want this. There is a similar one local to me with a hydraulic flat bed. Guy wants a fortune for it.

i found 2 on FB on
One in NJ for 15k with utility body on it with 80k miles florida truck nice truck and clean
another in NH with 250k miles stake body on it for @9k

I would keep it gas and either swap a l29 454 vortec and use the tbi system on it get a ht502 cate engine and run it with the tbi system or do an 8.1 swap

im a duramax guy ive owned 12 of them and the duramax was built for this truck never made it in them

im not sure what its worth yet but im going to sell it and put the money towards a duramax donor

I've got an '89 half ton that could benefit from a stump pulling, low end torque producing beast of an engine. Gimme a shout when you finally pull it out?

Beautiful HD! Not often (almost never) you find one that is in such nice condition and low miles. Also rare to find them with the Silverado/SLE interior/full power options, especially in the earlier years. Then put on top of that it's a 4x4 conversion which are not common at all! You sir have a unicorn there.. enjoy!

EDIT - the one thing that's throwing me off are the door handles; I'd wonder if someone swapped them out in the past, or if this is an example of a running change during the 1994 year model. 1993 HD's got the smooth handles, and every 1994 HD I've seen got the Kodiak/Topkick large grab style handles. I don't know if that means they -ALL- got them, though.

it currently has a NV4500 behind a TBI 454. Its a Tank! I have plans of eventually swapping out the big block for a LB7 Duramax time and money will determine that.

I read "It's perfect, and I'm going to un-perfect it." Buy a trashed one-ton if you want to do a Duramax swap.

i will definitely do a build thread for sure! Im going to mate the duramax to a 96+ nv4500 they bolt up ill probably get one built to hold a lil more torque.
thats the plan find a donor and go from there.
