what can you do with a 95 ?
Thanks for the writeup. Really simple and straightforward. Bought my '88 in Dallas and drove it to San Antonio with the stock shift lever on the shaft I had wrapped with electrical tape and forced on. Have an old school white 5-speed knob similar to yours and used a carriage bolt I cut off instead of all thread as the local hardware store had no all thread rod. Works great, looks good - much better than the stock knob - and I didn't have to use a jam nut as it lined up with just a little cranking on it. Will repaint the shifter shaft when I do some of the other touch up paining but meantime, one more job out of the way. Much appreciated.
