I got the car a few weeks ago (11/21/14) when I traded my 73 C10 for it. I was waiting to get the title on it, and now that I have it, its officially mine.
It is a 1991 Camaro RS, originally had a TBI 305/700r4. Before I got it someone had put in a 383/700r4 setup, but the guy bought the car for the motor/trans to put in a 62 Impala wagon. So it sits now as a rolling chassis.

My Plans Are:
Built carb'd 350/Turbo 350 trans 2200 stall
A good street cam (any recommendations are welcome)
4th gen wheels
4th gen interior or get the drivers seat recovered
Find all the missing interior pieces (Headliner, emblem, map pocket, some random switches and knobs)
Possibly a 4th gen (or ford 8.8) rearend with disc brakes, limited slip, and 3:42's
Get the hatch open!!!
New hood pins

Nice find. Body seems to be in good shape from the looks of the pictures. I have driven one and though they seem to be fun cars I hate vehicles that I feel like I have to fall into them when getting in the front seats.

This is my second 3rd gen, I had a 87 Trans Am with a digital dash and everything. But I've never driven one, the first one had a blown motor and this one has no motor. I do like the way they sit though, makes you feel one with the car. Until the seat spring stabs you, then you realize your sitting in the middle of the yard in a car with no drivetrain.

Here is the engine I have for it. 1977 350 010 2 bolt main, really clean and has been rebuilt before. Need a better set of heads for it but I think some port/polish on them and shave them 30 thousandths the should be good. Can still see the honemarks in the cylinder

I went outside to test fit a 17x9 with a 275/40 tire on it, went to jack the car up and the I guess you would call it torquebox or something similar, where the rearend hooks to the subframe is rotten on the drivers side, and I thought I got away from rust. Couldn't really look under the drivers side when we went to look at the car, only the passenger side and it looked perfect. THIS IS THE LAST CAR I'M GETTING WITHOUT PUTTING IT ON A LIFT!!!!
