You get them off in one piece? they seem to be gold finding them LOL.. I would never want joint compound in mine, or body filled to crack etc.. later on..
Bondo would be a definite no no in my books. Maybe of it was for a quick flip and rip on some poor kid.
My plan was to actually weld the seam shut.
I probably won't do it, but if I did, it would definitely be welded.

Way back in '99-2000 when I converted my 92 RCSB to a stepside I looked high and low for these mouldings for a long time and never tracked any down. They were disco'd by GM even back then. Can't believe this pic is almost 25 years old. Man I'm old
