Range selector bolt stripped

4l60 ; in process of console shift swap. Nut came off fine, but when i put the range selector switch on, guess I tightened nut too much and its stripped. Whats next step? Is this something i can fix or does it have to go to a tranny doctor

I bought a Lang 972 thread restorer kit a couple years ago and have found myself using it more often than I thought I would. Really handy tool and may restore the threads enough to get the nut snug. Add a little blue locktite for reassurance.
