DJM C-notch on my '98, 4/6 drop. I had to notch the cross member on the box above the pumpkin. Actually bent the floor up, from the rear end hitting it. (Maybe, could be, caused by the way the way that I occasionally drive it? Hmmm.) Soon as it was cut, though, it went 'boing' & back to it's original shape. The pumpkin probably won't come close, now that I've relocated the upper shock mounts.

The Super-C Notch is the only way to fly. I put mine in years ago, and I only run a 6" rear drop. I could not stand hearing/feeling the rear-end hitting the frame, while going over small bumps, with even a tiny bit of weight in the bed. The half-tons really have soft springs & a wimpy frame, but they ride nice, lol. Forget the brand, but the Super-C section I bought was just like the one in the link above, but all the pieces were welded together when they came in the box. I also trimmed the little bed support rail just over the rear-end pig, so it wouldn't hit either. I bought & installed red Energy Suspension brand urethane frame stops, which are a bit shorter than the factory ones too. Then I installed Air-Ride rear air bags, with the air lines exiting right behind my flip-up license plate, which hides the hidden Class 2 reciever hitch.

It is already in my posession or I would have. I may end up ordering one anyway and going that route. Anyone have a pic of the installed notch he has proposed here?

I have ran those other notch's like Belltech, DJM, etc. and you will still bottom out all the time with those they just aren't big enough.
