What and how many miles a year do you tow with your Gmt400?

That ought to get er done, my '97 crew cab is a pretty capable truck (and it's "only" got a 350....). Are the one tons in your area really low mileage? I paid $5000 for mine last summer, with 120,000 miles on it. Texas truck all its life; hauled this load to the swap meet north of Houston this weekend. Under the tarp are 16 totes full of magazines, shop manuals, parts and Hot Wheels, plus several tables.

In the past, I'd do several hundred miles a year with my K3500 hauling hay and hay equipment. Currently, I'm down to a couple hundred miles or so a year with my K2500, And that's usually another GMT400.

I would say I do 1-2K miles a year. I move tractors a couple times a year, haul firewood and gravel, and tote the side by sides to different riding locations. Also the occasional car. Firewood is probably the heaviest load. Maybe 8-9K tops. Mainly doing this with the 95.

Welp, tomorrow after work, I'm supposed to make the trip up to OKC area to pick up the first gen Denali I found. That puts me home around midnight if I'm lucky, only to turn around and open the next morning. This is gonna suck. But hopefully will also be worth it.

Is that the dark bronze ish green? That's a pretty color, and not very common. Most Esky and Denali seem to be pearl white, black or pewter (or silver sand as Cadillac calls it). I saw a red Tahoe Z71 on the way to work this morning, couldn't get a pic of it though.

don't forget to pickup some 405 T shirts while you're there .. :)
You'd be better off picking up some lunch. OKC's a foodie town now, and there's plenty of great food to choose from.

If you're going to Norman, try Tarahumara Mexican.
If you're going to Moore, try Royal Bavaria.
If you're going to downtown OKC, try Empire Slice House.
If you're going to Choctaw/Harrah, try The Black Raven Pub.
If you're going to Edmond or west OKC, I know there's exceptional food, I just don't know off the top of my head.
