If you go to a real body shop supply, they will have a 3m sun gun, which is computerized to make the correct paint color. It also compensates for weathering and fading to match perfectly. I have run into this problem.

That is Stangkillrs ZL1500. It is 100% original paint. And for the life of me I can not remember what the paint code is.

Yes the guy who put a zl1 camero engine in a 93 he said it was teal but that year has 3 different teal colors

Get it computer matched. Most higher end paint systems have the camera capabilities. The name of the color is unimportant when mixing paint.
