Anyone know what the paint code on the lower half of this truck would be??

Is it your truck? What year? Did you look at glove box for paint codes?

It is not my truck, i just bought an all red 97 and thinking about painting the lower portion eventually.

I think the lower portion is pewter; the color looks more silver ish on overcast days or in the shade. Sunlight brings the gold aspect out. And I'm pretty sure that combo was available for a few years....
IIRC the color code is 11 on the spid. Will check on Burb; I got a partial shift today so I will be near the glovebox!

My 98 Sierra the lower paint rpo was 11L and it was called Pewter Metallic.

On the RPO code sticker, the lower right area will likely have the paint codes and if is like my girl's two tone truck, one will be marked "L" for lower and "U" for upper, with numbers following.

A pewter, instead of a silver, would look good with the red.

I don't think an RPO is gonna fly at a paint store. What I did was give my VIN to the dealer and they gave me the code I needed to get the correct paint at the store.
