I had EVO on my 1998 ECSB WT model...well, until I unplugged the sensor on the column.

All 3 of my pickups came with it. I think it was a 97+ thing and not a platform thing. Or maybe it was 96+?

I don’t think my 99 C2500 came with it

Edit: it didn’t, I just remembered that I replaced the PS pump on it once.

It was definitely installed on pickups as well. My '97 C1500 has it.

I believe it was '97+.

My 96 and early 97 K1500's don't have EVO. The later 97's are more like the 98+ pickups so it could've started then. But I'm pretty sure there was no EVO in 1990.

My '97s are both early and they both have it. The red truck's build date is 1/7/97 and the Suburban is 12/16/96. If '97 was indeed a split year for EVO it must have been extremely early.

Might depend on the plant they were built in. IIRC GM built our trucks and SUVs in many places; some places may have gotten the changeover parts before others did?

There was absolutely no EVO in 1990, but my dually is an early 97 so it may have been an option based on what we're seeing here.

My 97 Express was built 09/03/96. Had EVO. Until I put a reman pump for a 96 Express on it along with a 96 high pressure pump to hydroboost hose.
