I heard about a new ford prototype tailgate, has injection molded and heated seats so ur comfy waiting on ur tow truck! And to the OP, drive that ****, if I've seen half the chevs here in the UP urs is like a Cadillac , beat the snot out of it, these trucks love the abuse!

I made the round trip to SoCal with the Burb and zero problems. I ran 80-82mph down there and I averaged 18mpg. On the way back I was 10,200 pounds and I ran 70mph and I averaged 12mpg. This is also the original 4L60E. Occasionally you get the rare 4L60E that somehow beats the odds.

That's still pretty darn good. So around a 5,000# trailer?

My buddy has an 01 Silverado RCSB with 4.3/4L60e. Last I heard from him he was pushing 380k miles. Original drivetrain. They are out there...

6x12 enclosed uhaul with the burb loaded with boxes to the roof from the front seats to the rear door.
