The cab and body are a 89 chevy c1500. The roller is a 89 gmc what i thought to be k2500. When i run the vin it says its a 89 gmc 454 4 speed. But its actually a k2500 (higher gross weight vehicle apparently as the auto part store says) with a 6.2 and a th400. The truck had a utility body on it which i cut off. So the reason for this thread is it looks like i can fit 35s easily. With the gaps i have, is that possible? Am i missing something. Also Ill post a pic shorty!

What's a "roller"?

So sombody swapped a diesel and automatic in place of the 454 and manual.... and possibly doors.

The truck had a utility body on it which i cut off. So the reason for this thread is it looks like i can fit 35s

Usually 285s/33s.... I'd guess 35's would be a bit big.

A roller is the rolling chassis. I thought that term was used with cars awell as bikes. Everything but the cab and bed was from the gmc.

That looks normal to me. Yea Roller is a common term, does it still have the engine/trans in it?

33's will be the biggest without major cutting or lifting... either 285/75 16 or 305/70 16 Maybe the 1500 is just lower than normal??

Looks like my cc did. If those are 245s? I ran 285s on a stock c2500. They filled out the wheel well great!. Wheels rubbed the control arm a little.

I've heard it before, but it wasn't clear to me what you were talking about without a point of reference.

I don't think it's sitting any higher than my 8-lug truck. I could vary a little by T-bar preload and the specific spring pack you have in the back.

I used the drive from the k2500 6.2 th400. When i jacked the cab/bed off, while rolling the k2500 frame under i had to raise it a 4x4 and deflate the tires. Ill try to gind a pocture of how it used to sit.
