Who wants an offroad bumper!?!

I'd say $600 is a fair price for a decently optioned bumper. It's in most people price range but its not a low ball either. I've seen some for $1900! I paid $1800 for my truck, why would I pay more for just a bumper? You know.

I think producing a bumper that could retail for $600 would be a good goal. I think im going to start pricing out a compresser, welder and tubing bender and hopefully make myself a prototype before Christmas. I honestly have no experience with it, but it is something that interest me, and think i could get the hang of it.

I'd be in for sure, however I've already ordered tubing and plan on making one for myself. But a matching rear bumper would be cool as well. Just a thought

What happened to this idea?? I want to design tube bumpers for the 88-98 gmt400 trucks!! I have ideas, just no welder, bender, or cutting tools!! Dammit!!

I would but I'm married LOL!! But seriously though, every time I think of buying a welder, I think of the parts I could buy for my truck with that money. And vice versa...it's a vicious cycle

Look for used welders on here, I see good deals all the time.
