Where to Run Amp Power Wire Through Firewall?

I ran mine down inside the frame rail then drilled a hole in the floor pan with a grommet under the seat.

I noticed that the grommet where the antenna wire comes through is quite large and is easy to access. Does anyone know how big the actual hole in the metal is, can I cut some extra out and run the power wire through there?

I'd like to keep as much on the passenger side as possible as the battery is already there and to keep it away from the speaker wires already on the drivers side.

Did you have to remove the antenna wire or are both wires sharing the one grommet?

The hole for the antenna grommet is about 1" in diameter IIRC.

When I did mine, I removed the antenna cable and installed what's commonly called a "romex connector" in the hole. I then ran both the antenna and power cables through it.
