Where to Run Amp Power Wire Through Firewall?

Where did you all run your power wires through the firewall? Did you use an existing hole or did you drill a new one? I have a 98 w/ 5.7 and I need to run it down the passenger side.

usually you can get a away with drilling a hole directly under the area where the door open chime plugs into.

Mine has a hole there, but i don't have a amp or subs

I ran mine down inside the frame rail then drilled a hole in the floor pan with a grommet under the seat.

You could probably do this^^^ and just pop a hole in your shift grommet (95-up auto guys)
