How thick is the firewall? I'm looking at drilling through the passenger side to run a wire through. Can someone show me on a picture the easiest place to drill and come out inside the cab.

When I installed my remote entry/start in my truck I had to run a wire through to get a tach wire, really no need to drill a hole.

Not nearly enough information provided to give an accurate answer, so my advice is no holes and slip it through the driver's side.

did you get the signal from an alternator or..
No, I tapped into the white tach wire off of the coil.
Where do I find the entry point in the driver's side?
I’ll try and get a picture. It was all the way to left on driver’s side, there’s a factory penetration. Kinda, up behind Parking Brake.
