Gms soft 8's. Chrome no hubcaps. I've seen the newer models (chrome wheel package) Not a pretty sight.

I took my original rims, got some spray on paint remover, and striped the clear coat off of them. Then I painted the silver outer center parts black. After that I buffed the aluminum with some polishing compound and a small hand buffer. After that the rims had a good shine, I waxed them out with some cleaner wax. You can see my refection in them on the center cap. The cap is a plastic cap that has a thin stainless cover on it. They buff out very nice. The Coopers are the tires I am running now. I did the rims some time ago. When the rim start to get a little dull, I just apply a new coat of wax.

It took me about 1 day. The hardest part was taping off the rims, so I could paint the black. The buffer I have is a 6 inch. The stripper was easy. I just followed the directions on the can. It worked grate. LOL The sig pic is still the same. I saw it did the same thing on another person's post. May be it has something to do with the fact that the admin is the one who posted my sig pic, sense I couldn't seem to post my own IDK. If you do your rims, post some pics.
