The center cap is plastic, but it is covered in stainless so it will need to be stripped too. Mark the tire,and pull the wheel weights so you get all that old yellow clear coat off. Just stripping off the clear coat makes a huge difference. At first, I just used some Turtle wax white polishing compound to bring out the shin, but after learning how to buff aluminum, I went back and redid the rims. It is easier to do, if you take the rims off of the truck,but I did mine in the truck. Your Coopers look good.Hey Kenny, what did you use to strip them? A couple of my rims look to have been chromed?
