@1997 : I got 8.5 if I remember correctly, it's written on the receipt somewhere. Same exact trip yesterday, but east bound this time, unloaded with cruise set at 65mph got me 15.0034 mpg. You win some you loose some

I had the same transmission but had a 5.7 in front. now I have the 2004 NV4500 MW3. next is the lq4 swap.

Only by a hair over 1000lbs..lol the V6 5 speed ext cab is rated for 5k .
