Ok, I replaced the radiator in my '95 C2500 today. I followed the typical procedure of pouring in antifreeze while the engine is running and letting it run to purge out the air. I did this until the coolant level remained the same for several minutes with no bubbles.
While driving it this evening, the temp gauge keeps fluctuating from the "normal" mark up to just below 210, and back to "normal". It was doing this the entire time I was out on the test drive.
