How do you like the Green Stripe belt? I'm thinking about those for my trucks. I don't want to buy one for Rawhide until I am sure I'm not upgrading to the Suburban alternator (bigger alt, bigger belt). The 100amp is having trouble keeping up with the AC and the DRLs in this heat.Gettin there! If there’s no more snags I’ll fire it up shortly.

Is that another name for the Fleetrunner? I got one too…in reserve. How do you like the Green Stripe belt?
I guess, Gates called them Green Stripe back in my parts store days (70s and 80s). Heavy duty, lasts longer. Not much more expensive, seems like a good thing to do to the truck. Is that another name for the Fleetrunner? I got one too…in reserve.
Yeah they’re always changing the names of things. Probably so they can charge more!I guess, Gates called them Green Stripe back in my parts store days (70s and 80s). Heavy duty, lasts longer. Not much more expensive, seems like a good thing to do to the truck.
Well it fit! That was exciting because I upgraded to the alternator from the LS trucks and had to do some digging for the fleet runner version. Lol. We’ll see how it goes. Looks same as OEM part. Except for the Made in China.Have I done something wrong or is it this Dorman upper intake?
TDC compression on number 1
Line up the dent with the mark
Stab and make sure rotor rotates to the “8”
Distributed plug and “coil” socket are both touching the intake.
