FWIW: had a convo w/ Pioneer a few years back: was told their standard sbc dampers' elastomer is pressed in, while Both their Heavy Duty and Performance pieces have Vulcanized elastomer.
Unless I truly required SFI, I've opted for the HD pieces. Have NO clue what the other mfgrs are doing.

as for BHJ: their products are as good as it gets; but pricey. I have some BHJ tooling.
