Man, I genuinely appreciate torque witness marks on critical fasteners! :waytogo:

(insert visual of me standing up in front of my laptop, clapping while yelling Bravo! :0)

Tasty assembly work. And the photo quality is top notch, too!

Thank you sir, I spent a year in a government contracted aviation shop, rebuilding props. I don’t have any of the waxy “torque check” stuff but I think paint markers work fine. It gives me a good piece of mind. I’m not 21 anymore and don’t remember everything. In 20 years when I retire and have nothing else to do I’ll probably safety wire everything I touch too :rotflmao:
Note: check out my international scout restoration that I was working on at work but has been put on hold. Thread in the “other vehicle builds” section of the forum.
Are you sure that isn’t oil based paint? Ol Bob Ross would approve.
It doesn’t come out of a tube buts it’s probably the same lol

A little textured but I like the “hand built” look of things.

EGR tube has been heated and is soaking in marvel mystery oil.

And my NOS, Hecho in USA fuel pump came in. It’s going on the shelf. No way I’m dropping the tank if I don’t need too.

Thinking about building an a-frame gantry with a winch anyway…

FuelPump/Hanger looks to be good quality too?

Definitely does. Yellow cad coating, fully assembled. Includes pump and sock.

The Delphi hanger I removed recently seemed to have much lighter gauge wiring on the in tank side than the ones on this one. Appeared to be anyway on ebay photos.
