I was able to get a tilt steering column & will need a few parts before I can install it. Is anyone able to let me know the parts that I need? This is my first steering column swap on an obs, besides upper & lower trim, steering wheel & airbag, clockspring what additional parts do I need to complete this steering column? Do any parts transfer from my non tilt?

Your parts should all transfer over. The clamshell is different between the two. While it’s apart it will be super easy to swap over components.

Harness, key cylinder and all should transfer?
Definitely surprised
I don’t see why they wouldn’t.

The columns are the same, put your wires, switches, etc. on the new column. It should work fine.

Here’s a photo of the tilt column clamshell.

I don’t have a video but I can share some photos.

When you drop the knee bolster, you’ll see this horizontal bar that has 2 nuts in each end and the black metal plate. Remove those.

2 nuts on top, 2 nuts on the bottom, but I would disconnect the shift cable (pictured on the right hand side) and the harness connector (on the left, it has a captured bolt holding it together), do those first because the column will drop

Then it should just be the through bolt at the bottom of the shaft where it goes into the bell shaped universal joint.

It just slides out and you’ll be left with a column.

I also recommend a bungee cord to keep the wheel from turning so you don’t hurt the clock spring or get it out of center.

Nows a good chance to check the lower bushing also. Wolff engineering makes a really nice replacement.

Note: the big grey thing and the disc in my pictures is the steering angle sensor for the EVO system, you won’t have that.
