"Sparkle someone else's eys"
On my 1990, 400, I do not have an accessory position on the key switch. It currently has a tilt column in it. I don't know if that was a factory option or not.
With the key in the lock position I can not rotate it backwards to what I think would/should be the accessory position.
I can roll it forward one "notch" and nothing happens at that position.
One more notch forward and everything lights up (dash gauges, AC/heater, radio and anything that would normally be on while running).
Next forward lights up the starter.
I'm starting to believe I do not have the original column in my truck. If this is the case is there a relatively simple way to add that accessory position short of a new correct switch and a rewire job?
While not an emergency it would be kind of nice to have that accessory position working.
Thank you!
Ken
