Back in '90 dad bought this truck.

20 years of wear and tear has taken it's toll on this truck.
Here is the list of things I had to fix.
Brake lines: front to rear.
Driver's side door and fender. Hurricane side affect winds came through and folded the door forward and creased the gap, ruined the door roller and spring, and sprung the door jam out and the door won't close all the way.
Body mounts, cab corners, rockers, and bed sides.
Let the journey began.

Before I get any further, I wont to let you guys and gals where I'm going with this. It's not going to be anything fancy, just a solid street driven truck, that is safe, fast, and fun. The end result will be safer with better braking and handling. As of now I'm thinking of disc brake conversion to the rear. The fast part is nothing short of an LSX/A4. And the fun part will include a lower stance to undetermined amount, but as of now it looks like a 4/6.

Just like any other build you must have a budget and save $$ where you can. The first thing I wanted to attack was the bed. Out went the bed liner and I evaluated the rust damage.
I shopped around and found new replacement bed sides for $400.00 a side. Or I could find a replacement bed for $200.00. No brainer there.

As you can see I had a purchased a different bed and for a couple more bills I acquired the whole roller. It was a '94 ECSB. While I had it, I took the driver's side door and fender. I also took the core support and some cab corner replacement panels.

This photo shows how I pulled on the bottom of the panels and rivets and bondo popped off.

This part of the frame doesn't look so bad. It's under the cab that matters.

The good about the X piece is that the '90's is good.
