Thinking about knocking out the ICM, Pick-Up Coil, Cap, and Rotor all in one fell swoop with one of these:

Thoughts?

If you have the money go with one from DUI.....

Well pulled the IAC Valve, looked dirty, so I replaced it. Also made sure all the plugs were tight, and replaced the upper radiator hose after discovering it was leaking around the thermostat housing just from being pulled off when I did the intake manifold job, atleast I fixed that BUT I still have the idle problem, though it seems the new IAC Valve is keeping it from stalling, reacting faster to whatever is causing the RPMs to drop. But its still pretty rough at idle once it warms up.

Well instead of dumping $30-$40 in another cap and rotor I went ahead and ordered that distributor assembly. I'm wondering if I damaged the pick-up coil when replacing the rotor maybe? Or perhaps just knocked the timing off a little somehow?

I read through this thread a little bit last night but actually fell asleep at the computer so I dont know all the details. Did you confirm that the timing is correct? Like you said, it is a rare possibility that the dizzy was loose and you managed to rotate it a little bit. It doesnt take much to throw the timing off 2-4 degrees. Have you tried running the truck with the brown wire disconnected from behind the glove box?

A new dizzy is going to require you to start from scratch setting up the timing. If you have never done one beofre then it can be a little frustrating depending on your mechanical ability.

The problem has to be something that you touched while doing the tune up.

Can you elaborate on the EST wire? I am vaguely familiar. And yes, I called today about getting a local shop to check the timing, but I decided if I'm gonna pay to have it set, might as well go ahead and get an all new setup for them to set.
