Trucks do not need to have carpet... Trucks are for work. Vinyl floors belong in trucks.

I mean the cup holder in the passenger side dash, where an airbag would be in the later models. Has 2 cup holders and a square pocket thing. Looks like it's ment to hold cans.

They're good if you're just sitting and eating lunch in your truck, which is about all the pull-out ones are good for too, especially since the rubber tabs on mine went limp and now drinks slide around in it.

I remember being a little kid and my dad and I would go somewhere and he'd let me eat on the little tray that the glovebox of his 92 made when it was open. That made my week when I was a just a wee chillun. Now I eat in my truck all the time between classes and I sorely miss having a tray like that. The folding middle seat isn't bad, but sitting twisted sideways like that kind of sucks.

I'm constantly spilling on my carpets, because of both the cup holders and my rotors being slightly warped. Under medium-hard braking the truck shutters bad enough for the soda to jump right out the can. I use this and a stiff brush. It gets the stains right out of my tan carpet and smells pretty good too.

Dunno what to tell you guys. Other than it heating the cup in the winter and cooling it in the summer, my holders work just fine in the 98.

In use a travel mug whenever I can also. Keeps drinks warm/cold and the lid prevents spills.

Any spills that do happen are handled by:
